Because Gwen Hardison Easley came first, there are now many other women on the NFD who encourage other women of color to join the Nashville Fire Department and Nashville Office of Emergency Management. Our female personnel work in our Fire Suppression Division, our EMS Division, our Fire Marshal’s Office, our Special Operations Divsion, our Nashville Fire Department Training Academy, our Occupational Health and Safety Office, our Human Resources Division, our Finance Division, our Administrative Division and our Public Information Office.
